Project Details

The client wished to build a new "Orangery" extension to the rear of his relatively new property. The materials were to blend seamlessly with the existing building fabric which included brick plinths & detailing, architectural cast stone and bespoke french doors.

The required aesthetic was to have classical orangery references such as the stone, but with a modern contemporary approach.

Modern construction techniques have afforded a slender roof profile, a hi-performance single-ply membrane roof with a lead-like appearance and slender, minimal stone columns, cornicing and architraves.
